Nationals Well-Represented in Baseball America's Top 100 Prospects

The Washington Nationals are brimming with young talent, as evidenced by their impressive showing in Baseball America's latest top 100 prospect list. Three Nationals prospects made the cut: outfielder Dylan Crews at No. 6, and right-handed pitchers Travis Sykora (No. 59) and Jarlin Susana (No. 67). Andrew Alvarez: A Creative Pitcher Who Could Develop into a Starter, a Reliever, or Both! 

Andrew Alvarez was selected in the 12th round of the MLB draft in 2021. Alvarez attended Cal-Poly for 3 years and pitched in relief for his first two years before joining the weekend starting rotation in his third year. In his third year as a starter, Alvarez went 7-3 with a 4.08 ERA and 81 strikeouts in 88 innings.
